Kings c.c put themselves back in the running for the Eca cup after a hard fort victory over Co Cash yesterday at Caledonia. Kings opening pair of Gary William and Douglas James got their team of to a fine start adding 42 for the first wicket during the powerplay. Fantastic contribution from Lance Whitely 36, Sean Wright 31 and league leading run getter M Miguel Gordon 23 allowed Kings to post a competitive score of 167 for 8 in 19 overs. Co Cash replied with 151 for 4 with Shuaih Zaidi smashing 78 not out , falling short of kings total 169. |
